On Thursday, Nigerian musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, made a hint that he would call it quits on his music career after finishing his next album.

On Thursday night, Davido came clean in response to the recent images and videos that some bloggers had manipulated to disparage him.

The “Unavailable” crooner’s internet spat with his colleague Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Balogun, has put him in the headlines lately.

He asserted that some people would kill for him to leave the music business in order to keep them at peace.

Do you guys really want me to quit the game so badly? Yeah, I won’t do it after the next record. He posted, “So una fit, get peace,” on his X handle.

Davido recently said that several of his colleagues haven’t been at ease since he started in the business.

The artist launched the music video for “Kante,” which features the incredibly gifted vocalist Fave, from his “Timeless” album, on Wednesday.

Additionally, he declared that the album’s outstanding tune “Timeless,” which was released in March 2023 and is nominated for a Grammy, will come to an end with the publication of the visuals.
