Season 17 of Britain’s Got Talent saw Ghanaian Afrobeats dancer Afronitaa, winner of TV3’s Talented Kidz, rank third behind Abigail Dromo.

The competition’s finals took place in London, UK, on Sunday, May 2, 2024. The pair amazed the judges with their amazing performances time and time again throughout the competition, even if they were unable to take home the grand prize.

Many Ghanaians took notice of their noteworthy accomplishment and applauded the pair for bringing Ghana’s popularity to a worldwide level by making it to the finals.

They performed hits by Fuse ODG and Reggie ‘n’ Bollie.

Apart from propelling their professions, their victory on Big Brother has greatly raised global awareness of Ghanaian dance and culture.
