Prominent dancer Danita Akosua Adomaah, also known as Afronita, has pleaded with the government to assist her dance school, highlighting the value of developing talent and giving underprivileged youngsters opportunities.
She fervently pleaded for government support for her dance school in an interview with Citi TV, especially so she could teach impoverished street kids who don’t have access to professional dance instruction.
Afronita expressed her appreciation for any kind of help by saying, “Anyway the government can support me, I would be grateful. I recently opened a children’s dancing school, so if the government helps, I can teach street kids who can’t afford to attend my dance program.”
Afronitaaa was welcomed to the office of Mr. Andrews Egyapa Mercer, the Minister-designate for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, on Friday, May 10, which is a positive development.
There were additional notables in attendance, including Mark Okraku Mantey, Deputy Minister of Creative Arts. She emphasized the importance of her request and the possible consequences of receiving government support for her dancing school.
