Fiifi Coleman, an award-winning Ghanaian actor and movie producer, has stated that, like actress Martha Ankomah, he is very picky about the films in which he appears.
The actor thinks he would rather go broke than appear in films with terrible screenplays.
The actor was speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, which Ghbase.com was watching when he stated that he prefers great films.
The actor claims he has turned down several movie roles because he believes the scripts are poor. He says that whenever a producer approaches him for a movie, he makes them understand what he wants and does not want, so if the producer is okay, they work, and if they are not okay today, he decides to let the deal go regardless of how much he would be paid.
He also stated that he has been allowed to work on better films with lousy scripts before accepting jobs. “I have rejected a few scripts from different producers because, to me, they were not too good; nevertheless, I will gladly snap it up if I am satisfied.
