Grammy-winning musician Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ogulu, has ventured into the film industry. He is set to produce his first Nollywood film, “3 Cold Dishes,” as the executive producer under his co-founded company, Spaceship Films, along with his mother, Bose Ogulu.
The film will be co-produced by Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network. “3 Cold Dishes,” written and directed by Tomi Adesina, is a story that unfolds in Côte d’Ivoire, the Republic of Benin, and Nigeria.
Director Asurf Oluseyi described the film as a testament to the strength and resilience of its characters, stating, “It took us blood and sweat to get it to this stage.” The star-studded cast includes Brutus Richards, Wale Ojo, Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Ruby Akubueze, and several Ivorian and Senegalese actors.
