Nigerian musician Inkboy has persisted in demanding payment from Sarkodie for his contributions to the song “One Million Cedis.”
Even years after the song’s release, Inkboy says he has not received anything from Sarkodie, despite his contribution to the song’s enormous success.
Sarkodie reportedly refused to compensate him, claiming that working with him would expose him to enough positive attention.
But as time has gone on, Inkboy feels that he has not benefited in any noticeable way from this exposure, which is why he is demanding money for his work.
Nigerian musician Inkboy was upset that he was left off of Sarkodie’s “One Million Cedis” collaborative video at some point last year.
Originally, Sarkodie included Ink Boy on the song from his 2022 album “Jamz.”
The musician said in a few tweets that he had repeatedly pleaded with the Ghanaian rapper but that his requests were ignored.
Ink Boy claimed he was unaware the song’s video had been posted until he was tagged in a few posts on Monday, March 13.
