‘In Nigeria, you’re responsible for your own safety’ – Paul Okoye

Nigerians should take charge of their safety, according to artist Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy of the Psquare.

Amid the nation’s growing unease, the artist made this statement.
In response to the government’s incapacity to effectively safeguard residents’ lives and property, Okoye counselled Nigerians to adopt preventative security measures on their own.
In a now-viral post on his social media page, Okoye stated that Nigerians will be safer the sooner they acknowledge that they are in charge of their security.
“You will be safer in Nigeria if you understand early on that you are in charge of your safety.”
